There’s been quite the buzz lately around the college campuses of Rutgers lately and anyone that wondered “why?”ought to listen up. First there was Drake with his and The Weeknd‘s compilation of hit song “Crew Love.” You know “they lovin’ the crew.” Who didn’t love that song? …exactly. Shortly after, the words “Crew Love” would appear again on the radar, this time for a slightly different purpose thanks to Raymond Croft and Angel Tavarez.

We got a chance to catch up with Crew Love founders Ray and Angel, who actually met at the university about a year or two now. They gave us a little bit of insight as to what exactly Crew Love is (with absolutely no relation to OVO). They told us all about the initial start of the brand, their goals and simply revamped everyone’s definition of “Crew Love.”Up to date, the young gentlemen have been doing phenomenally for themselves as they’ve gotten notables such as Fat Joe, Lloyd, Fred The Godson, Dj Aelyn, and Dj Kennedy to acknowledge the brand. Our good friend Sumit from London went to a Drake show today. Earlier this evening, Drake finished the first London concert of his Club Paradise tour. A crowd of 18,000 strong fans roared as the Young Money star rolled out the hits in an energetic performance. Dressed in all black, the rapper came out to “Lord Knows” and had the crowd the moment he stepped on to the stage. Tonight’s performance was definitely an improvement on his firstLondon concert last year.
