I was always exposed to a lot of music growing up. My parents listened to a lot of the greats man like Marvin Gaye, Al Green and The Temptations. I soaked up a lot of music. From hip-hop I was just interested in everybody. Eventually I just started writing to instrumentals and it just came natural.
