Christmas season is upon us, but for the holiday season came early for some of the MLB‘s elite arms. While the big hitters are waiting for their pay days their counterparts are making out like fat cats. Free agent pitchers David Price and Zack Greinke made a combined $423 million this week in new contracts. Their big pay days set the market value through the roof for their peers.

While the MLB was busy shelling out enough dough to fund a tech start-up the NBA, NFL, and college football were working overtime. All three leagues have been on a hot streak lately, giving us plenty of entertainment. In the NBA the Golden State Warriors are on a tear like no other and may be the greatest sports team of all time as they have yet to lose a game. The NFL and NCAA also sport undefeated teams (Carolina Panthers and Clemson Tigers respectively) that have shown enough resilience to never doubt them losing  a game.
