Chance the Rapper’s younger brother Taylor Bennett, is a skilled rapper in his own right. After dropping a video for “Happy Place” earlier this month, Bennett has released a collaboration with his older brother called “Broad Shoulders,” which is set to appear on a project with the same name.
“Broad Shoulders” is the second song the brothers have recorded together, however fans won’t get the first until Chance drops his third solo project. Back by a piano, “Broad Shoulders” is nothing short of a rap ballad.
Bennett talked Rolling Stone about his professional and personal relationship with Chance:
“My thing with my brother is that he always wanted me to work on myself and create my own name before we got to work together. He always knew that I was great enough to get a fanbase and sell out shows and get a lot of views. It’s a very meaningful song to our family and our next generation. Chance is now a father, and in the third verse, I speak about my niece — his daughter — so it’s a really emotional and compassionate song.”
