As we approach the final month of 2015 the time is now for anyone that plans to make moves in 2016 to get on their game. Clearly Canelo Alvarez got the memo, defeating Miguel Cotto in boxing’s first blockbuster fight post-Floyd Mayweather and in all honesty it wasn’t that bad. Canelo winning is better for the sport as Cotto was already established as a great win or lose. Giving Canelo rub as he moves on to face his toughest test, Gennady “Triple G” Golovkin, makes that fight that much bigger.

Another individual that has grabbed life by the horns has been none other than Stephen Curry. The king of the Vine, the young god from beyond the arc, has continued to level up. Curry has not rested on his laurels after a MVP season that ended with a NBA title, but instead morph into the league’s next superstar leapfrogging guys like Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, and James Harden. Speaking of Harden, this is a guy that has gone the complete opposite way. The runner-up for MVP last season has been nothing close to that as and as result of his pathetic play someone on his team paid a hefty price.
