Halloween weekend brought a ton of craziness in the sports world. The spirits must have found their way onto the playing field Saturday, with bizarre happenings across all sports formats. The New York Mets saw their miracle run come to an end after an eighth inning in Game 4 and ninth inning of Game 5 that will be engraved in every New Yorkers memory for all the wrong reasons for many years to come. The Kansas City Royals, the miracle team from last year, capitalized on the Mets’ follies and effectively end their 30 year title drought, snatching their second World Series title in franchise history.

The football field was also held prisoner of some Halloween madness with some head scratching decisions and wild finishes in the college ranks. A week after firing their head coach the University of Miami beat Duke on a miracle play that may or may not have been illegal, but saw those referees all suspended and Michigan , coming off their own heartbreak, come up with a miracle win thanks to the University of Minnesota being morons.

See what madness went down in the final seconds of those games and what else went on in the final week of October in this edition of Sporting*Goods.
