Regardless, the MLB season is almost over, and it figures to end on a high note for the second straight year as two teams of destiny clash.

The NFL has been great to us this season and this weekend was no exception as this rivalry weekend produced good games between the New York Jets and New England Patriots, New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys, and even the Oakland Raiders and the San Diego Chargers put on an entertaining show. A majority of the headlines this week however come outside the lines. The NBA fraternity lost another great member, the MMA world welcomed back one of their own, and one NFL team wishes their season was over already.
