WTF Happened In Sports This Week: Kam Chancellor Takes Down Megatron & Cubs Win A Playoff Game

The end of September was quite the snooze fest, but do not worry because we are about to hit with a hurricane of sports. From now until the beginning of November the four major sports will all be on. I repeat all four major sports will be on at the same time. That’s right we have playoff baseball, preseason basketball and regular season hockey to hold us over Monday through Thursday and have the rest of the week to enjoy football, it doesn’t get much better than that.

We hit every major sport this week with names like Odell Beckham Jr. and Stephen Curry reuniting on the countdown as well as an introduction to Conor McDavid, a future tenant of the countdown. The first football weekend of October produced some great plays, capped off with Seattle Seahawks training camp holdout Kam Chancellor forcing Calvin “Megatron” Johnson to fumble at the goal line to cap off a Monday night win.

See what else made the countdown in this edition of WTF Happened In Sports This Week.
