Last season Odell Beckham Jr. was the unofficial captain of the unofficial WTFHISTW All-Star team along with Stephen Curry, James Harden, and Yoenis Cespedes. Beckham started off the season a little cold, causing a minor freak out by Giants fans over the Madden curse. Then, ODB caught a slant pass and took it 60 yards to the house and all was well with the world.

In addition to ODB returning to playmaking form we have two candidates for play of the football season already. Cam Newton, the most athletic player to ever play quarterback, made the first when he proved why he deserves to be called Superman with an insane touchdown dive. The second came from the college ranks where Michigan State wide receiver Aaron Burbridge redefined the term “toe-tap” with his sick touchdown grab.

See what made those plays great and what other great plays were made in this edition of WTF Happened In Sports This Week.
