Drake’s longtime collaborator and best friend, Noah “40” Shebib, took to Twitter to address the allegations made by Meek Mill also via Twitter. Just in case you missed it, Meek Mill accused Drake of not writing his own lyrics and expressed how he felt the Toronto rapper was fake. Following this Meek also voiced his anger at having someone who “doesn’t write their own raps” on his album, even going as far as saying he would’ve removed the song if he had known earlier.

So, I know everyone’s looking for a response from Drake that we all know will never come, at least not directly, but that’s what friends are for. Shebib went on a Twitter rant of his own and addressed the rumors essentially saying that Drake may have worked with Quentin Miller, but it’s so much deeper than that. It’s literally about the art.
