Kendrick Lamar & Eminem Will Appear on ‘Straight Outta Compton’ Soundtrack

So far, all looks good for N.W.A‘s  upcoming biopic, Straight Outta Compton. The latest thing fans have to look forward to is the soundtrack which is said to feature Dr.Dre, Eminem and Kendrick Lamar.

The news was officially broken by Director F. Gary Gray.  Gray made an appearance at 2015’s Comic Con, in San Diego, where he first tipped off MTV, as to what the soundtrack has in store.

This soundtrack will mark Dre’s return to the music, which can be credited to his connection with Apple Music. We definitely are excited to see what Dre is bringing to the table after his 15 year hiatus. Especially after Gray described the album as’insane’.

“The soundtrack is insane. Seriously, it’s incredible. He went deep and you can hear some of his influences, with jazz and soul and a little bit of funk. And Kendrick Lamar is on, Eminem; a lot of great guest stars. But it’s really Dre and how he’s evolved and how he’s matured as not only a person, but as an artist. It’s deep and it’s great.”

It hasn’t been confirmed when the soundtrack will be available for purchase but Straight Outta Compton will premiere in theaters August 14th, so it could be the around that time.
