Josh Greenberg, co-founder of the music streaming site, Grooveshark, was found dead in his Florida home late Sunday night (July 19.) Police say there was no evidence of drugs, and the cause of the death is still unknown.
Greenberg’s girlfriend found the young man lifeless laying on the bed in the house they shared. Greenberg was only 28-years old. As of right now, there is no explanation for the death. Friends and family will have to wait for the results from toxicology.
Greenberg launched Grooveshark in 2007 with his two classmates at the University of Florida. The site faced many legal problems with copyright issues from music publishers and was ultimately shut down for good on May 1 2015.
