Jaz is a new comer who’s injecting her fresh sound into the Pop and R&B world. Through her developing years, The California native’s participation in talent shows, local community arts programs and artist development trainings has prepared her to embark on a career as a solo artist. However, she generated buzz with the release of her first official music video, “Bout That.”
The 17-year-old independent artist, also known as I Am Queen Jaz, got her start by working with producer, Remothehitmaker, who’s worked with artists such as 50 Cent signees Kid Kid (XXL Freshman) and Jeremih, Chrisette Michele, Meek Mill, Swizz Beatz and more.
Accrediting her musical influences to Myles Davis, Aaliyah, and Beyoncé, Jaz is currently working with Grammy nominated producer and pianist Kevin Randolph, who has produced music for the likes of Jay Z, Big Sean, Drake, Sevyn Streeter.
Even though she is a youthful artist, she also aims to construct consciously aware music. Jaz is a teen on a mission with goals of her music providing a means to give back to her community. “I would like to give back to the homeless communities,” she said. “ Also, other charitable organizations such as The ASHE Foundation, Anti-bullying programs and Breast Cancer Awareness.”
