This Detroit native is releasing hit after hit.
Dej Loaf is redefining gender roles in her most recent track “Like A Hoe.” The rapper discusses her growing irritation with guys playing and wasting her time, so she’s ultimately reaching the point of treating guys like hoes. I know a lot of ladies who can relate to this one. The “Try Me” singer raps, “And I’m tired of playing with these niggas/ All this pain I done been through tryna change how we living/ Rock shows and throw them old chains in the venues/ We don’t hang out the window, might aim out the window.”
Fresh off the high of performing off the Summer Jam stage and gracing the cover of XXL magazine after being named a 2015 Freshman, we’re sure Dej Loaf is ready to take the rap game by storm, and what a great start.
Don’t forget to catch Dej Loaf and the rest of the XXL Freshman Class in New York City, June 30, at the Best Buy Theater. More of a west coast person? Don’t worry. The Freshman Class will also be gracing the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, July 31.
