Fan Invades Kanye West’s Glastonbury Show

One brave fan had the audacity to disrupt Kanye West’s performance in Gladstonbury, last night(June 27). That man has been identified as Simon Brodkin, a British comedian known for playing Lee Nelson in Lee Nelson’s Well Good Show.

Brodkin apparently ran across Ye’s stage, during his performance of “Black Skinhead,” wearing a “Lee-zus” shirt.  Security quickly rushed on stage to remove the intruder. This stunt caused Kanye to have no choice but to restart his track.

Neslson later tweeted about the stunt. Saying, “some people were saying Kanye shouldn’t headline Glasto so I thought I’d give him a hand.”

The interruption had mixed reviews from fans. Some called it payback, after Ye’s infamous Taylor Swift interruption during the 2009 MTV Music awards and with Beck at this past year’s Grammys.

Despite this, Nelson didn’t ruin the rest of the performance though, Kanye continued to go strong.
