With a $19 million deal on the line, Apple is pursuing Drake to sign on as a featured DJ for iTunes radio.
Their latest project, Apple Music, is set to debut later this year and of course will have some serious competition from other popular streaming services such as Spotify, Pandora, and TIDAL, indefinitely.
Of course Apple is well aware that having a new streaming service flourish, if not outdo all it’s major competitors is no easy feat. That’s why the world renowned company is actively seeking some of the biggest names in the business to help draw in potential users. Pharrel and David Guetta are also being actively sought out by the company.
More information will become available after the World Wide Developer Conference being held on June 8.
