Disclaimer: This video is graphic and disturbing.

Back in August of 2014, a white, unarmed man – Dillon Taylor– was killed by a police officer wearing a body camera, which shows that the officer killed the young man for no reason at all. Although footage from the body camera was released in September, it stopped shortly after the shots were fired. Here we are, in June of the next year, and the full footage has finally been released.

Dillon Taylor, his brother and his cousin were exiting a 7-Eleven as Officer Bron Cruz pulled up searching for a suspect who had allegedly been waving a gun around. Somehow all of the guys apparently fit the description. They were then surrounded by cops who ordered them to put their hands up. Dillon, however, had headphones in and was unaware of the officer’s commands. It wasn’t until a gun was pointed in Taylor’s face that he knew what was happening.

Jerrail Taylor told the SLC Tribune, “I saw them point guns at my brother’s face, and I knew what was going to happen.” After discussing the fact that two officers gave two separate commands Taylor went on to say, ““He got confused, he went to pull up his pants to get on the ground, and they shot him.”

In October 2014, this shooting death was ruled justified due to a “perceived threat”
