Bobby Shmurda’s Trial Date Has Been Set



The trial date has been set for the “Hot Nigga” rapper, Bobby Shmurda (also known as Ackuille Pollard).

After a court appearance today (June 25), the trial date has been set for October 5, 2015. The rapper is accused of being the alleged mastermind behind the GS9 collective, which face over 100 charges, as a unit, including murder. In court, prosecutors reminded him that an eight year sentence offer still stands.

Another date, August 19, has been set to allow defense to coordinate their plans and determine which of their clients would move forward in their multi-defendent trial, which also includes Bobby Shmurda’s good friend, Rowdy Rebel. Pollard alone faces charges that include reckless endangerment, two counts of criminal possession, multiple conspiracy counts, and one count of criminally using drug paraphernalia.

Rebel faces the charges of one count of assault and murder, three counts of conspiracy, two counts of reckless endangerment, and four counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
