Big Sean Builds A Recording Studio At His Former High School

Big Sean just gave back to his old high school in a ‘big’ way.

They don’t call him Big Sean for nothing. Everything thing he does really is big. After the extremely successful release of his album Dark Sky Paradise, the record sales obviously had Sean feeling generous, that and his promise to his former high school. The “Blessings” rapper told students at Detroit’s Cass Technical High School that if their average ACT score improved, he would donate enough money to build a state-of-the-art recording studio for the students. Looks like that was enough incentive for the students at the technical high school.

Big Sean had nothing but words of joy and nostalgia on Instagram regarding the studio. “I can’t believe I used to rap at the lunch tables, slang my CD’s in the hallways, and fast foward less than 10 years later I’m opening up my own recording studio at my old High School Cass Tech for the students! This brings me tears of Joy! Thank u for making this happen @adidasoriginals 📷 @zenojones
