The release of Kanye West’s lastest album SWISH, formally known as So Help Me God, has been delayed once again but there are new rumors suggesting why. It is suspected that the “All Day” rapper may be saving his much anticipated album for an Apple exclusive.
It is speculated that West’s release of SWISH may just line up with Apple’s launch of its own streaming service, Apple Music — Apple’s Beats reboot, which is scheduled to debut in June. These reports were initially made by the Hits Daily Double.
Speculation first began when Kanye was accused of removing his tweets regarding Jay Z’s music streaming service, TIDAL. This later lead to rumors surfacing that Kanye may exit from Roc Nation all together, but soon other reports, revealed that the rumored split was just that…a rumor.
While there is no confirmation with Kanye himself of what his future holds, concerning a partnership with Apple, he did take the liberty to shut down any suspicions that he may not be onboard with Jay Z. Kanye took to Twitter last month to reiterate his support of TIDAL.
We’re not sure what we should expect from ‘Ye in June but it’s sure to be a great surprise.
