In his most recent release “Black Heaven,” Boosie makes it a point to never forget those who paved the way for him. With the help of heartfelt vocals from Keyshia Cole, along with a profound verse from J.Cole, “Black Heaven” represents a noble reflection of the greats that have gone on before us. Mentioning the likes of Whitney Houston, Tupac, Bernie Mac, and Michael Jackson, Boosie also manages to create an idea of what he thinks these influential black stars are doing in heaven.
The Louisianna native can be heard rapping, “Whitney Houston, she was heaven sent/A song bird prolly smilin’ right now listenin’ to her own words/Rosa Parks so much heart, she an OG/Know she smilin’ lookin’ at the blacks in the front seat”
“Black Heaven” will appear on the rapper’s highly anticipated sixth studio album entitled Touchdown 2 Cause Hell, due out next week on May 26th. Anxious for the album? Get it as soon as it drops and pre-order it on iTunes here.
