Black Keys Frontman Will Not Be Working On Lana Del Rey’s New Album

Lana Del Rey 2

Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys will reportedly not be producing Lana Del Rey’s new LP ‘Honeymoon‘ that is set to debut this September.

Despite having worked alongside Del Rey during the production of last year’s record ‘Ultraviolence,’ he will not be returning to aid in the artistic direction of this year’s highly anticipated follow-up. At least he will not be at the forefront of production. Whether he has any contribution to the upcoming album or not is still unknown at the moment.

Lana Del Rey Finds Her Way To The Alter In The Video For ‘Ultraviolence’

During production in 2014, Auerbach and Del Rey at times had their creative differences. Yet, it’s only natural for two mega stars to seemingly ‘bump heads’ when it comes to producing something remarkable as a team effort.

“She impressed me every day. There were moments when she was fighting me. I could sense that maybe she didn’t want to have anybody think she wasn’t in control because I’m sure it’s really hard to be a woman in the music business. So we bumped heads a little bit, but at the end of the day we were dancing to the songs.”

Lana Del Rey TOPS the Billboard Charts

Well whomever ends up producing ‘Honeymoon,’ we’re sure the LP is going to be phenomenal. Just as Lana has proven ‘Ultraviolence’ and both editions of ‘Born to Die’ to be, we all are expecting some exceptional work.
