I hope every one had a great Memorial Day Weekend and I hope in between the parties, music festivals, barbecues you took time out to salute our nation’s guardians (and the reason we have Monday off in the first place), the armed forces. With that said the MLB, NBA and NHL had us covered on the entertainment side of things this weekend.

The New York Yankees immortalized the first player from the late 1990s dynasty, Bernie Williams. The former Yankee centerfielder has his number 51 retired by the team this past Sunday (May 24th) with most of his teammates on hand including Derek Jeters first return to Yankee Stadium since this happened.

When it came to on the field entertainment the names that dominated the headlines were LeBron James, Stephen Curry, James Harden, Lil B, Patrick Kane, Henrik Lundqvist and Steven Stamkos. Yes, you read that correctly. Lil B dominated headlines with his now official “curse” on James Harden for stealing the Based God’s “cooking dance”. No I’m not f*cking with you.
