The autopsy reports of B.B King are due back in eight weeks, but the daughters of the legendary blues musician believe they have the answer to his cause of death. Poison.
Las Vegas homicide detectives are currently investigating the death of B.B King, according to an AP report. The singer’s daughters Karen Williams and Patty King are alleging his business manager, LaVerne Toney and his personal assistant, Myron Johnson, murdered their father.
In affidavits, the two said:
“I believe my father was poisoned and that he was administered foreign substances. I believe my father was murdered.”
They have also accused Toney and Johnson of preventing King’s family from visiting him during his last days. Patty King had even previously accused Toney of elder abuse, saying she refused to hospitalize King while his health was declining.
Police have declined to comment further on the investigation.
