There is no denying the significance of Christopher George Latore Wallace, better known as The Notorious B.I.G., to the rap industry and overall hip hop culture. He earned the title King of New York for being one of the greatest emcees during his short-lived 24 years on earth.

We all know about his part in the East Coast versus West Coast beef that dominated the 90s hip hop era to every lyric of “Juicy.” With such a notorious life, it’s hard to believe any interesting facts about such a well-known and impactful artist could slip through the cracks–but they have.
