Young Thug is at it again. Not too long after releasing the Barter 6, the rapper’s real album, Hy!£UN35, release date is exposed.
If you thought the Barter 6 was Young Thug’s debut album, don’t worry we all did. But to set the record straight, Barter 6 is only a mixtape, Young Thug’s real album is actually called Hy!£UN35 (pronounced Hi-Tunes, for people who can’t read Young Thug). The album is not set to release until the end of the summer, August 28th.
If you don’t believe us just yet, don’t worry we have proof. An email from 300’s president, Lyon Cohen, surfaced from Pigeons and Planes, reads:
“300 Entertainment recording artist Young Thug has announced the release of his new mixtape, BARTER 6. The collection, which marks the rapper’s first solo outing in more than two years, is available now at all digital retailers. Hy!£UN35, Young Thug’s long awaited debut album, arrives at last on August 28th. “300 is proud to present Young Thug! We believe he is a unique artist who will have a special place in the future of hip hop” – Lyor Cohen, 300 Entertainment”
