DMX Accused Of Robbing A Man At A NJ Gas Station


An unexpected headline made way involving rapper DMX following the holiday weekend after a New Jersey man claimed he was robbed by the rapper on Sunday (April 5).

The incident reportedly happened at an Exxon station on U.S Highway 21 in Newark, New Jersey, a little after midnight . A 21-year old man told police, he was robbed for $3,200 shortly after an encounter with the “Ruff Ryda’s Anthem” rapper.

According to Newark Police spokesman, Ronald Glover, the victim told police he briefly spoke with DMX before the rapper’s entourage pulled out a gun and demanded the young man’s cash. DMX allegedly grabbed the money, and he and his entourage fled off in four black Cadillac Escalades, according to a news release.

The man followed after the vechicles and was able to pull one of the license plates. The investigation is ongoing.
