Cam’ron brought us custom capes and Ebola masks with his face on them, and now the Dipset rapper is back with his latest venture: Killa Crunch cereal. Starting Friday April 10, select New York bodegas will begin shelving Killa Crunch, but the boxes are not filled with actual cereal.
Instead they will be stuffed with a limited-edition t-shirt and $100 cash, which fans can snag by following the hashtag #KillaCrunch on Twitter and Instagram, where Virgin Mega will be post stash spots throughout the day. A description on the Virgin Mega website reads:
“…it’s Cam’s latest venture into the cereal scene that may be the crown jewel in what has been a lemonhead-hued career’s worth of gems. In conjunction with Cam’ron, Virgin Mega is proud to introduce the collector’s edition Killa Crunch cereal, directly inspired by his iconic Complex magazine cover shoot from 2014. Cam’ron knows that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so he created a limited run of Killa Crunch cereal boxes to help his fans start their day.”
The back of the box has a “Dumb Smart” crossword puzzle and a “U Mad Lib” of Cam’s verse from Kanye West’s “Gone.”
The boxes will be on shelves April 12, but Killa Crunch (with the accompanying t-shirt) can be purchased on the Virgin Mega website for $45 starting April 13.
