Last week, Kdot included the album’s iTunes link in a tweet. We’re only 10 days away people! He revealed the official tracklisting just a few days ago, and today “King Kunta,” which serves as Track 3 on the album, leaked.
Th funky, upbeat instrumental features some unapologetic bars from Kendrick, though—if you ask me—it’s not his best work.
“I got a bone to pick, I don’t want you monkey-mouth motherf—kers sittin’ in my throne again,” he declares from the jump. A few raw bars later Kendrick keeps the madness going. “I was gonna kill a couple rappers, but they did it to themselves. Everybody suicidal, didn’t even need my help.” What can I say? It’s Kdot season y’all!!
