Kendrick Lamar’s “King Kunta” Video Is On Its Way

Kendrick Lamar’s sophomore album To Pimp a Butterfly, entered the Billboard 200 at No. 1 this week, opening to sales of 362,687. Now, fans can expect the video for the funky cut “King Kunta” as well. Last night (Mar. 25) Kendrick hit the Compton Swap Meet for the shoot, and even hopped on top of a building for one of the scenes. There is also some footage from a daytime shoot as well, which features Kendrick rapping in a parking lot filled with cars and people. This will be Kendrick’s second visual from his the album, following the video for “i,” which was dropped last year. Watch the behind-the-scenes footage above.
