Brock Lesnar Retires From MMA, Re-Signs With WWE

You can stop crossing your fingers and toes WWE fans, Brock Lesnar is here to stay. After a year long conflict on whether to return to the UFC or re-sign with the WWE, Lesnar chose to take the money and job security. The WWE champion made his announcement live on SportsCenter last night.

Usually the affairs of the WWE don’t concern the sports world, but this is Brock Lesnar we are talking about. If you are not familiar with his work or vaguely remember him let me introduce you/refresh your memory.

Needless to say, Lesnar is one of the best athletes to ever regardless of the sport. He is also one of the biggest draws on the planet, a big reason Dana White and the UFC wanted him back and the main reason Vince McMahon and the WWE couldn’t let Lesnar walk.

Lesnar will be headlining Wrestlemania 31 this Sunday (March 29th) at Levi’s Stadium, home of the San Francisco 49ers, in a championship match against Roman Reigns.
