When Ab-Soul released new music early Saturday morning, it came with a heads up that the record label he’s assigned to, TDE, may not approve.

The track “47 Bars,” like it’s title, includes a surprising (or, not) 47 bar verse. Opening with, “This verse was ghostwritten by Capital STEEZ,” Solo spits aggressively over the sultry hip-hop beat produced by the Alchemist.

If there is trouble in paradise, this wouldn’t be the first time Soul thought about dropping music with out approval.

Solo’s last few bars could further suggests there may be tension with him and the TDE label, but we’ll let you be the judge.

So don’t ask me about Kendrick or Q…J-Rock, Zay-Wop, or SZA sexy-a** too, cause I was thinking long-term before I met them. I been through hell and back and I deserve heaven. And I thank all of yall who supported the ‘These Days Tour’ for 47 cities its 47 bars and this is the 47th bar (laughs).

The track has been deleted from SoundCloud, but you can still listen to the cut on YouTube above.
