It’s about damn time. After playing through a sore knee for a majority of the season, Carmelo Anthony is finally shutting it down and undergoing knee surgery. Anthony will be out 4-6 months, allowing the New York Knicks to go into all out tank mode.
The team said Wednesday (Feb. 18) that the procedure Anthony is getting done is a left knee patella tendon debridement and repair. The expectation is for him to be fully healthy for the 2015-2016 season when losing will not be tolerated.
