Bobby Shmurda remains at the Manhattan Detention Complex after his $2 million bail package was withdrawn on February 5.

Kenneth J. Montgomery, the rapper’s attorney, told REVOLT that he is “still working on” a viable bail package as well as filing legal motions.
In a statement to REVOLT, Montgomery said:
“The Government has requested 2 million dollars bail, the average household in Brooklyn makes 44k. Mr. Pollard is not accused of shooting or assaulting anyone, nor was he found in receipt of any drugs. As a result of the bail amount it’s been challenging in making the bail, however we are dotting our I’s and crossing our T’s to make sure the package is approved by the Court, despite any reservations by the Government.”
Montgomery hopes to have a set package before Shmurda’s next court date.
However, despite being locked up, the Brooklyn rapper continues to drop new music. Last night, the French Montana and Rowdy Rebel-assisted cut “Right Now” released, and today a remix of “Bobby Bitch” featuring Rowdy Rebel and Rich The Kid.
The collaborative mixtape Smigo Gang with Migos, is in the works as well.
