Beyoncé has teamed up with her trainer Marco Borges to launch a new vegan meal delivery service. The company, called 22 Days Nutrition, is modeled after the belief that it takes 21 days to kick a bad habit.
The singer herself has tried veganism before. Back in 2013, she and her husband Jay-Z went vegan for 22 days, inspiring her to partner with Borges, also the company’s founder, for the meal service.
The meals, which are entirely plant-based and do not include soy, gluten, dairy or GMOs, range in price from $9.76 to $16.50.
In a press release Beyoncé said:
“I am so grateful that I took the challenge and credit Marco with leading by example. He is the most energetic person I know and it’s all because of his decision to live a healthy lifestyle. He came up with a great program to get people motivated to make better nutritional choices. All you have to do is try. If I can do it, anyone can. I am excited to partner with him.”
Some of the company’s dishes include curried fried rice with vegetables, fajita kidney beans, winter beans with zesty parsley and quinoa, ratatouille pasta with pesto, and an almond blueberry breakfast loaf. You can sign up online here.
