Aspiring Rapper Files Paternity Suit Claiming Jay Z Is His Father

Jay-Z Ace of Spades

According to TMZJay Z is currently being sued by 21-year-old Rymir Satterthwait, who claims to be the rap mogul’s son. Satterthwaite, who is said to be an aspiring rapper, claims that his mother had an affair with Hov back in the 90s, and now the rapper is trying to dodge a paternity test that would prove the allegations.

Court documents uncovered in the report reveal that Satterthwaite’s legal guardian, Lillie Coley, filed the civil lawsuit in December of 2014, but the family previously tried to get Jay Z to take a paternity test back in 2010. However, this claim was reportedly dismissed by a New Jersey judge who cited jurisdictional issues after the rapper’s lawyer argued that Jay-Z lived in Manhattan and not New Jersey. Coley and Rymir are arguing that Hov submitted false information to the court to intentionally halt the claim. The civil lawsuit also claims Jay z’s actions have caused Rymir financial and emotional damage.
