Former NBA player Michael Beasley is being taken by an Arizona woman, who remains unnamed, for allegedly raping her in 2013. The lawsuit was submitted to the court on Monday with the “victim” asking for $25 million for sexual assault, infliction of emotional distress and false imprisonment, according to court documents.
In her lawsuit the woman accuses Beasley of stripping her clothing off, choking her unconscious then sexually assaulting her multiple times. The Scottsdale Police Department investigated the incident in 2013 and did not charge Beasley with anything.
This whole situation has the signs of a disgruntled side chick looking for a payout. I mean, the fact she says she was sexually assaulted multiple times while unconscious just seems suspect to me. The $25 million is another red flag–if she was indeed raped why would the police not at least charge Beasley with a misdemeanor.
Beasley has yet to comment on the matter, nor has anyone in his camp. We’ll learn more about this case as it develops.
