The feud between Lil Wayne and Birdman keeps getting uglier and uglier. A few days ago we reported that Wayne filed a lawsuit on Birdman for $8 million dollar after delaying the release of Tha Carter V and then being stiffed another $2 million following the completion of the album.
Lil Wayne is now suing Birdman for a total of $51 million dollars and, as if that wasn’t enough, he plans on taking the entire crew with him. This includes Nicki Minaj, Drake, Christina Milian, Lil Twist, and Cash Money‘s president Mack Main who are all under Wayne’s Young Money imprint.
However, if Birdman decides to cough up the cash, Wayne has no lawsuit and will have no legal reason to break his contract. Word on the street is that Birdman pulled this stunt as a power play and plans on paying up soon.
And after all the hype, it doesn’t even sound like Lil Wayne is worried. On the single “CoCo” off of his mixtape Sorry 4 the Wait 2, he raps “I ain’t trippin, I got Barbie, I got Drake too.”
Sounds like this is getting personal.
