Kid Cudi announced via Twitter yesterday (Jan. 20), he wouldn’t be making Man On The Moon 3—at least not with his production team; A TrakPlain Pat and Emile Haynie.

“I can’t/won’t make MOTM3,” he wrote. “It’s time I assemble the team.”

Fans immediately reacted to Cudi’s blasphemous tweet as their hopes for a third installment to his MOTM series was shut down. (Check out their reactions below).

Cudi’s last release came in digital forms last February. Satellite Flight: The Journey to Mother Moon, originally announced as an EP turned out to be his fourth studio album. Cudi’s Man On The Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager was released back in 2010. Part III is lonnnggggg overdue.

While I’m confident Cudi is serious about only working with his trusty production team, I’m not sure he’s going to not put the album out. I mean, can he do that?

Could Cudi just be trolling? What do you guys think? Drop a comment below and let us know.
