Keshia Knight Pulliam Fired From ‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ For Not Calling Bill Cosby

Keshia Knight Pulliam a.k.a. Rudy Huxtable took to The Wendy William’s Show to discuss her time on The Celebrity Apprentice. “You’re Fired!” were the last two words she heard from her time on Donald Trump‘s The Celebrity Apprentice. The reasons behind it include not making a call to Bill Cosby.

Everyone expected Pulliam to reach out to her TV dad from The Cosby Show, Bill Cosby for a donation to her fundraiser but that’s not a connection Keshia mentions having up her sleeve. “I have not talked to Bill Cosby on the phone in I don’t know how long,” the actress admitted to Trump, “For me to pick up the phone having not talked to you for five years, except for when we run into each other for a Cosby event, I feel that’s not my place to do.”

The episode was filmed before the sexual assault allegations were made against Cosby. However, regardless of these allegations or Pulliam’s reasoning, Trump still believes that she should have made that one call.  He even took to Twitter to comment on the situation.

Trump did end up firing Pulliam, the project manager of her all women team which included Vivica A. Fox, Kenya Moore, Kate Gosselin, Brandi Glandville, and Leeza Gibbons since she was to blame for the team’s loss. “You didn’t make one call that I really believe that if you’d called that gentleman he would have helped you, even if you hadn’t spoken to him in years,” he said “You were an amazing team with one of the most successful shows ever, so I think it would have been a good call to make for charity. You have to take responsibility.”

Pulliam didn’t leave empty handed, however. She still managed to raise a $25K donation from Mr. Trump himself, for her charity Kamp Kizzy.
