After months of tension between Katy Perry and her fellow hip-hop singer Taylor Swift, their feud might reach a peek come February 1, 2015. Rumors have been flying like wildfire speculating whether Katy is planning to make a jab at Taylor during her 46th Superbowl Halftime Show performance.
Katy will be doing something on stage during her performance that will be directed towards Taylor. “She is working on it to be a visual or a lyric related jab,” said the HL source. Fans are speculating whether the stunt is aimed to prove that Perry is the top hip-hop icon of the world or if she is just solely out to ruin Taylor’s career. There has even been talk of the “Teenage Dream” singer bringing Kanye up on stage for a duet—that could be a jab all in itself.
Gossip began to surround the two singers after Swift’s single “Bad Blood” was released, and the hype only increased when she admitted the song was written about another female singer in showbiz that attempted to sabotage her career. Everyone’s first thought was of course the “Roar” singer. Not long after, Katy Perry took the battle to twitter with a “Mean Girl’s” reference.
