Joey Bada$$ Switches His Flow On “Teach Me,” Taraji P. Henson Cosigns

Joey Bada$$ continues to keep the buzz surrounding his debut album, B4.DA.$$. Last week he dropped the soulful, piano-led track “On & On” with featured vocals by Maverick Sabre and Dyemond Lewis. Today (Jan. 7), he’s offering a new cut off the album, which debuted on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show. “Teach Me,” with the assist of singer Kiesza, reveals a more main-stream radio friendly side of Joey we haven’t seen before—though lyrically he’s still the same Bada$$.

Joey announced via Twitter that the new offering would instantly be at the hands of those who pre-ordered the album.

In other news, Malia Obama isn’t the only celeb Pro Era fanTaraji P. Henson took to Twitter to express her approval of Joey’s new track. “On another note YO this slow roll out of the on that new thang you dropped is killing me softly!” she tweeted. “HA! Loving EVERYTHING so far!”

Joey, of course, replied to the tweet jokingly (perhaps) inquiring about a sequel to classic movie Baby Boy.
