Finishing Touches Revealed On Indie Drama Starring A$AP Rocky

Forest Whittaker and Pharrell Williams bring to you “Dope,” a movie starring Zoë Kravitz and A$AP Rocky. The film was written by Rick Famuyiwa for the Sundance Movie Festival, and according to Scott Vener’s Instagram it’s just getting the finishing touches before its premiere.

This year’s Sundance Film Festival will take place January 22 through February 1 in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah.

The film centers around a geek named Malcolm who struggles to survive in The Bottoms, a rough neighborhood in Inglewood, California. Malcolm’s focus is to get an invitation to his dream school, Harvard. Instead he receives an invitation to an underground party in L.A that takes him on an adventure. If Malcolm can make it through the night he’ll stop being a nerd and finally be “dope.”

The movie also stars other big names such as Chanel Iman, Kimberly Elise, Quincey Brown, Tyga and more. This is surely and interesting, but impressive line up that’s sure to impress the crowd.
