Tyga Might Be Free From Cash Money Records

Today has been stressful for everyone over at Cash Money Records, after Lil Wayne sent Twitter into a frenzy by revealing his frustrations with the label and Birdman for holding back his upcoming album, Tha Carter V, which has been pushed back numerous times over the last few months. Most recently the date was set for Dec. 9, that is until Weezy’s tweets earlier.

Labelmate Tyga voiced his support for Wayne following his tweets, which is no surprise considering he aired out the record label and his labelmates back in October, threatening to leak his album The Gold Album: 18th Dynasty. But today Tyga revealed the album will be released independently:

This contradicts the Dec. 23 release date through his label that Tyga announced earlier in November. If the tweet is true, this might mean Tyga is no longer a part of Young Money/Cash Money.
