Are we approaching the end of an era? Is the YMCMB dynasty finally over? Well according to Lil’ Wayne’s Twitter account it seems like the only thing left to do is leak his own album and retire from the game. Weezy broke the internet this afternoon, firing off a barrage of tweets displaying his frustration with Cash Money and his “father” Birdman.
To all my fans, I want u to know that my album won’t and hasn’t been released bekuz Baby & Cash Money Rec. refuse to release it.

Tell me how you really feel Wayne. At first I thought it was a publicity stunt or an “account hack”, but the tweets still stand on Wayne’s timeline so it’s looking like this can seriously be the ending of Wayne and Birdman. We didn’t think we would ever see Dame Dash and Jay-Z part ways, but that happened and the Roc-A-Fella dynasty became a distant memory. If it is indeed the end than it doesn’t come a moment too soon.
Birdman already spits the utmost garbage in the booth and if Wayne’s creativity was indeed being hindered by his label then I’m willing to give him another shot. Cause let’s be honest Wayne hasn’t put out a fire project since “No Ceilings” back in 2009.
It was great while it lasted, cherish the memories guys…
So where could Wayne end up? Does Jay-Z cherry-pick Wayne and add him to the ever growing Roc Nation management roster? Or maybe he goes the independent route. One place he definitely is not going to? GOOD Music. Wayne has beef with Pusha T and doesn’t like him or anyone that loves him. That didn’t stop Pusha from having fun at Wayne’s expense…
@LilTunechi if u wanna drop albums & don’t want your CEO’s rubbing they hands all in your videos, COME TO GOOD MUSIC!! (Suge Knight voice) — PUSHA T (@PUSHA_T) December 4, 2014

Clearly Pusha is clowning around, but the fallout of this can reshape the landscape of the game. What happens to Drake and Nicki? The latter has an album dropping in two weeks and it will now be overshadowed by today’s news. We’ll keep you posted as we hear more, until then pour out a 40 for New Orleans and the YMCMB Era.
