Former NFL Player Darren Sharper Could Be Facing Life In Prison

Darren Sharper

Former NFL player Darren Sharper could be looking at a life behind bars after being charged this morning by a grand jury indictment on charges from a 2013 rape allegation in New Orleans. The All-Pro safety won his only Super Bowl with the New Orleans Saints in 2010.

Sharper is being indicted on two counts of aggravated rape from that 2013 incident and an additional simple rape charge from last August. He is being accused of assaulting two impaired women. He has been jailed in California since February awaiting separate charges of drugging and raping women there too in addition to charges in Vegas for the same thing.

Clearly Sharper is a repeat offender and even Stevie Wonder can see that he is a guilty man. Well now he’s going to get his as the sentence for aggravated rape in Louisiana is life in prison with no chance at parole, probation or suspended sentence. Good riddance. Sharper’s bail in Louisiana has been set at $2.5 million.
