Arguably one of the most unique and creative musicians around today, Tyler, The Creator, has been having a pretty good career so far. Unlike most musicians who only have their hands in the music game, Tyler is present in a few other aspects of the art world. From clothing design, to video direction, his recent stint in furniture design, and not to mention his television show on Adult Swim. In fact, he recently threw his 3rd annual Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival which featured performances from Grimes, Rick Ross, Vince Staples, Mac Miller, and Pharrell Williams.
Tyler, being a massive fan of Pharrell and N.E.R.D., was given the opportunity to interview Skateboard P just moments after he closed out the carnival with his headlining performance. In the interview Tyler asks Pharrell how it was to be involved, if he enjoyed performing his older songs (which Tyler grew up on), and if he was a fan of shirts with holes in them. Watch the interview above.
BONUS: I kinda feel bad for plugging this, but Tyler released a documentary with BTS footage showcasing the making of WOLF. The footage has since been leaked to the internet, but that was bound to happen. Check it out before it is taken down. Buy the DVD here!
