“Do you want to build a snowman”…again? Of course we do and it seems Disney does as well.
On Black Friday Idina Menzel, Queen Elsa, interviewed with The Telegraph confirming rumors that a “Frozen 2” is in the works. The voice actress also confirmed a Broadway play as well as t six minute short, expected to hit us by Christmas. And with all this going on Menzel’s only concern is being invited back for the sequel, though we can’t see why she wouldn’t especially after the hit, Let It Go, was a chart topper for 13 non consecutive weeks and the soundtrack alone sold over 3 million copies in the U.S. The soundtrack even went triple platinum.
“I can’t give any tips on how to sing Let It Go because I barely can sing it sometimes. It’s really hard. I can’t wake up in the morning and just sing it” Menzel later confessed. That seems hard to believe, since not just anyone can belt out notes like Queen Elsa.
“I guess my advice is that everyone who likes to sing it should sing it loud and proud and karaoke it out, sing it in the shower, sing it in the car and don’t worry about hitting the high notes.” Best believe we do, and we’ll continue singing how “the cold never bothered [us] anyway” all the way till the short film’s release, this Christmas.
