Tupac fans can expect some “new” music from the late rapper in the near future.
The Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation, founded in 1997 by the late rapper’s mother Afeni Shakur, is promising to deliver new music all in the name of charity. According to Vibe, the foundation is planning to release a track “featuring several hip hop stars” via 2Pac.com. The song will cost 99 cents, with all of the proceeds going towards the maintenance of the Tupac Amaru Shakur Center in Stone Mountain, GA.
Kamil “Muszamil” Beale and Dame Grease are also working with the foundation to create a bonus mixtape with guest rappers for fans that download the track.
