When it comes to Ebola, let’s make it clear that nobody’s playing.
Aboard a US Airways flight that landed in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic from Philadelphia on Wednesday, a passenger sneezed and reportedly joked: “I have Ebola. You’re all screwed.” His joke was not taken lightly though, and moments later people dressed in blue hazmat suits boarded the plane to remove him.
Everyone on the plane looks pretty chill, with many of the passengers watching and using their cellphones to film the guy getting carried away.
The flight attendant announces: “I need your attention, OK? It’s going to look worse than it is, OK? I really want you to remember, from the depth of my being, I’ve done this for 36 years; I think the man that has said this is an idiot.”
As the man is being removed, he can be heard saying: “I ain’t from Africa, s***.”
No surprise that the dude ended up testing negative for Ebola, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has said: “The risk of spreading Ebola to passengers or crew on an aircraft is low because Ebola spreads by direct contact with infected body fluids.”
